Blair West is supporting a Stockton based client who is looking for an exceptional Accounts Assistant to join a small but effective team. This is a varied role with an emphasis on credit control, we are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and can deliver great customer service.

The opportunity:

• Daily cash and banking activities.
• Ensuring supplier invoices are verified and correctly inputted.
• Monitor the daily debt position, updating management.
• Dealing with debtor enquiries promptly, keeping it under the 25 day monthly target.
• Liaising with other debt recovery agents and assisting with UK court proceedings.
• Insuring invoice accuracy and reviewing invoice data.
• Offering friendly and professional customer service.
• Other admin tasks as required.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you:

• Have a solid background as an Accounts Assistant.
• Enjoy and are effective at debt collection.
• Have a keen eye for detail and prides themselves on producing quality work.
