Blair West is working with a growing business based in Pocklington York, in their search for a dynamic Accounts Assistant.

Reporting directly into the FD this is a great opportunity for a skilled account assistant to work within a Group Structure in a varied role.

The opportunity:

• Purchase Ledger.
• Sales Ledger and Credit Control.
• Weekly Bank Reconciliations.
• Management Accounts:
  • Fixed Assets management
  • Accruals and Prepayments
  • Inter-company Reconciliation
  • Balance sheet Reconciliation
• Other duties to support the group.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant in a manufacturing, engineering or construction environment.
• Ideally, working towards AAT level 3.
• Familiar with accountancy software.
• Self-motivated.
• Keen eye for detail.
