Blair West are supporting Nixon Hire, a high-growth, PE-backed business headquartered in the North East, to find 2 Regional Finance Business Partners. As the business continues to scale, two newly created roles have been established within the FP&A team, both reporting directly to the Head of FP&A. These roles will be key in embedding finance into the heart of commercial and operational decision-making across the business.

The opportunity:

• Act as the “face of finance” for key regional and functional leaders including the COO, CCO, and Regional Directors.
• Provide ongoing financial support to senior management, with a focus on improving depot and divisional performance.
• Translate complex financial information into actionable insight for non-finance colleagues.
• Support the development and refinement of KPI dashboards to enhance visibility of performance across the business.
• Play a central role in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles.
• Collaborate with other Finance Business Partners to ensure consistency and best practice across the team.
• Identify and deliver improvements to financial systems, reporting and data quality.
• Be a key contributor to business-wide decisions through data-led analysis.
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives driven by business needs.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience working in a finance role embedded in an operational or commercial environment.
• A commercial mindset and curiosity to understand how business operations drive financial outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Confidence and credibility to engage with senior leadership across multiple regions.
• Experience in developing and refining financial dashboards and KPIs.
• Proven track record in improving financial systems and reporting.
• Strong financial modelling capability.
• Access to a vehicle and full UK driving license
