Blair West and RDX Works are teaming up to find a Qualified Finance manager to join a fully remote finance function.  RDX Works are a business focused on developing blockchain technology and decentralised finance solutions with ambitious growth plans.

The opportunity:

• Ensure adequate and effective financial controls (such as Balance Sheet reconciliations) are in place to guarantee accurate and reliable Group financial statements.
• Manage the consolidation of financial accounts and the completion of the month-end process in NetSuite.
• Oversee the timely completion of statutory audit testing.
• Prepare and submit Company annual returns, e.g., Confirmation Statements.
• Produce technical accounting papers as necessary.
• Collaborate with the FP&A Finance Manager to ensure the timely production of management accounts and Board Decks.
• Liaise with members of the Group’s Executive Team to understand the commercial nature and substance of crypto-accounting transactions.
• Complete crypto-currency accounting for the Group’s investment subsidiary and associated exchanges.
• Prepare and maintain workings and technical papers with respect to the Group’s crypto-currency accounting methodology.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• A Finance Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• A strong understanding of FRS 102 and UK GAAP.
• Knowledge of tax, although not essential.
• Experience in the use of NetSuite, again not essential.
• A strong Business Partnering background as you engage with various departments to ensure cohesive business operations.
• Experience in taking ownership of month-end close processes.
• Trained in Audit, with a background in practice, ideally with experience in a Big 4 firm – this is purely advantageous and not essential.
• The ability to work autonomously.
• An understanding of the Crypto market.
