Blair West is supporting Host & Stay to find a Management Accountant. This key role within the finance team reports to the Group Financial Controller and plays a crucial part in analysing financial data, enhancing business performance, and providing valuable financial insights to senior leadership. As the business continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting, cost analysis, and compliance while leading and mentoring junior team members.

The opportunity:

• Analyse financial data to drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and interpret financial reports to provide senior management with clear insights.
• Maintain financial policies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct cost analysis to review expenses and identify opportunities for efficiency.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including revenue forecasting and cost-reduction strategies.
• Lead and mentor junior finance team members, supporting their development.
• Liaise with the overseas transactional team to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and continuous process improvements.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• A qualification in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Previous experience in management accounting.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Expertise in risk analysis and financial reporting best practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• A strategic and analytical mindset with a strong numerical aptitude.
• Experience in Sage 50 (advantageous).
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
