Blair West is supporting a well known North East based organisation as they look to bolster their Internal Audit team – there are opportunities at Internal Audit and Manager level .

The opportunity:

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the agreed produced, Internal Audit Methodology, and Internal Audit Standards.
• Evaluation is carried out on key control design and operating effectiveness.
• Audit reports are clear and concise, with working papers which support the conclusions reached in the audit.
• Final reports are agreed by the business and issued by the agreed reporting deadlines.
• Ensuring that my fieldwork element of the annual reviews are proactively undertaken.
• Accurately completing tests as required.
• Liaising with and supporting the requests for information from the external provider.
• Proactively communicating on progress and challenges to the Manager and Director of Internal Audit.
• Working with the wider business to co-ordinate activities and remove blockages within the business.
• Ensuring work is aligned with the IIA standards.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• Experience in an Internal Audit role.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• The ability to present reports and findings to board level.
