Blair West are supporting Xtel to find a Strategic Enterprise Sales Manager.
This role is a key hire for a fast-growing, AI-driven technology business with a strong European presence.
As the organisation continues to expand globally, this newly created role will drive strategic enterprise sales across complex, multinational environments. Reporting into senior commercial leadership, this position will play a pivotal role in winning and scaling high-value partnerships while aligning cross-functional teams to deliver tailored, industry-leading solutions.
The opportunity:
- Lead and close high-value, complex enterprise deals across the EMEA region.
- Use pre-sales and technical expertise to guide solution design and shape compelling commercial proposals.
- Build, nurture, and expand long-term relationships with senior stakeholders across strategic enterprise accounts.
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies in response to complex customer challenges and market dynamics.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Delivery teams to build customised solutions that meet client needs.
- Drive opportunities across new and existing markets, ensuring a consistent pipeline of enterprise-scale deals.
- Conduct market, competitive and customer analysis to inform go-to-market planning and sales strategy.
- Represent Xtel at enterprise-level meetings, product demonstrations, and industry events.
- Champion customer-led insight to support product innovation and commercial decision-making.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- 8–15 years’ experience in strategic enterprise sales, with a strong foundation in pre-sales or engineering.
- Demonstrable success selling cloud-based SaaS solutions across EMEA, with deal values typically exceeding €1–2m.
- Experience designing and delivering go-to-market strategies for new or expanding markets.
- A proven track record influencing complex enterprise buying groups and securing long-term commercial partnerships.
- Strong experience collaborating across technical, commercial, and delivery functions to create bespoke client solutions.
- Pre-sales expertise including solution scoping, product demonstrations, and developing tailored proposals.
- Fluency in English plus proficiency in at least one additional European language.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex commercial conversations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
