Blair West is partnering with a leading marketing technology business that has an innovative software (and hardware) solution which enables brand owners to analyse consumer behaviour in store. There is a significant opportunity to scale the business internationally and bring in additional external investment.
The opportunity
- To lead the next phase of sales growth in the business in a newly created board role.
- To define, own and execute a new commercial strategy for the business, leading an existing team of sales and marketing professionals.
- To develop further recurring revenue streams.
- To operate as part of a leadership team committed to scaling the business.
- To embed scalable systems and sales processes that will position the commercial team and wider business for longer term success.
- To be an active, customer facing ambassador for the business in market and leverage existing relationships and professional network to identify new business opportunities.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have
- Experience of defining, owning and delivering a sales or broader commercial strategy for a scaling technology business in the Consumer/Retail space.
- An understanding of European and global retail markers and consumer behaviour.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to shape and develop a sales and marketing team.
- Familiarity with the specific demands of a smaller, but growing, business environment.
- An analytic mindset and the ability to quickly assess business strengths and areas for improvement.
- A ‘challenger brand’ mindset.
- The ability to design and implement scalable and repeatable business processes.
- Experience of managing relationships with senior stakeholders, ideally within leading consumer branded products businesses.
