Purchase Ledger

Blair West are delighted to be supporting a UK based client in finding a detail driven and process minded purchase ledger.

We are looking for someone who is is experienced with purchase ledger and is keen to learn invoice processing. The ideal candidate needs to be keen to make a difference in a fast paced, innovation led business.

The opportunity:

• Handling supplier invoices to ensure everything matches the items delivered.
• Spotting and resolving any discrepancies between jobs completed and amounts invoiced.
• Working with suppliers and internal teams to clear up any queries quickly and professionally.
• Tracking missed collections and making sure they’re followed up and recorded correctly.
• Keeping job logs up to date ensures we always have a clear picture of what has been done.
• Owning the process of reconciling what was expected with what happened.
• Reporting to the Finance Manager and collaborating with the Billing teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Sharing ideas and helping improve the way we do things – we love hearing from people who want to make things better.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• Experience in an accounts payable, finance admin, or coordination role.
• Great attention to detail and a proactive mindset – someone who spots things and gets them sorted.
• Confidence using Excel and job/invoice tracking tools.
• Comfort in juggling multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• A team player mindset and you communicate well.
• An interest in working across different departments.
• A keen interest in studying AAT.
