Blair West are supporting a fast-growing innovation consultancy and digital product studio to find a Marketing & Communications Lead.
The business works with startups, scaleups, and FTSE 100 firms across the UK, sitting at the intersection of creativity, technology, and real-world impact. This newly created position will join the senior leadership structure to shape and lead the company’s voice, outreach, and brand positioning across its consultancy, product, and accelerator offerings.
The opportunity:
- Set the strategic direction and execution roadmap for all marketing and communications activity.
- Develop and deliver bold, engaging messaging across innovation consultancy and digital ventures.
- Own the creation of visual and written collateral including pitch decks, campaign content and event assets.
- Lead brand and content campaigns across core channels including LinkedIn, print, and video.
- Manage and develop the marketing function, supporting growth through people and process.
- Coordinate and lead the execution of business networking events, founder showcases, and ecosystem engagements.
- Design marketing strategies that support accelerator and startup programmes.
- Contribute to thought leadership through public speaking, event participation, and proposal input.
- Collaborate with design and delivery teams to tell the story behind the evolving product and service portfolio.
- Play a lead role in expanding the brand’s reach and recognition across the UK and internationally.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- A proven background in B2B marketing and brand building, ideally within an innovation, tech, or consultancy setting.
- Experience setting and delivering marketing strategies across both digital and physical channels.
- A track record of managing teams and developing junior marketers or creatives.
- Strong written and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex propositions.
- Experience planning and delivering business events, founder showcases, or partner activations.
- Familiarity with the startup and innovation ecosystem, including accelerators and early-stage ventures.
- Confidence in representing the business externally – from pitches to panels to in-person events.
- High levels of initiative and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
