Graduate Accountant

Blair West are supporting our North East based client to find a Graduate Accountant.

This is a newly created role for a scaling business. The role will would suit someone who is at the start of their career and keen to get exposure to the demands for such a business.

The opportunity:

• Work as part of a team, responsible for the end-to-end finance processing in the head office of a pan-European ecommerce company.
• The role will cover invoicing, reconciliation, journals and assisting with management accounts.
• Working with all departments to ensure the timely delivery of financial information.
• Take ownership of KPI and P&L reporting
• Monthly sales reconciliations across all platforms
• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations for the UK business.
• Processing credit card expenses , billing and treasury functions.
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis when required by the business.
• Assist with the development and documentation of robust financial processes.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• A degree in Finance.
• A strong desire to continue your professional development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• The ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• The capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A dynamic and career-driven mindset.
