Financial Analyst

Blair West are supporting a scaling professional services business to appoint a Financial Analyst.

This role will sit in the internal Investment Control Team, responsible for overseeing the accurate reporting of fund performance, portfolio valuations, and Net Asset Value, ensuring effective control across all investment activities.
We envisage the successful candidate to be ACA qualified and within Big 4, looking to forge a successful career in industry.

The opportunity:

• Prepare and deliver precise performance reports for the Fund, segmented by asset class, investment strategy, time periods, and risk attribution to inform stakeholders effectively.
• Conduct regular assessments of the trading portfolio’s valuations, benchmarking against independent pricing sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Compile and present Net Asset Value reports for internal investors and regulatory bodies, incorporating thorough reviews of management and performance fees.
• Assist in executing the core reporting and valuation responsibilities, while also contributing to broader initiatives such as tenure tracking and other strategic projects.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
