Blair West are supporting a confidential, high-growth SaaS business, to find a Finance Manager. This organisation is a leading tech scale-up, recently backed by significant growth investment, and trusted by global brands across multiple sectors.
This newly created role will report directly into the CFO and sits within a growing, ambitious finance function. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute at a strategic level in a business preparing for its next phase of expansion.
The opportunity:
- Own and manage the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Deliver monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and internal reporting.
- Provide insight and support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Monitor and analyse key SaaS metrics to support commercial decision-making.
- Take responsibility for cash flow management and scenario planning.
- Partner with department leads to manage cost centres and budget tracking.
- Play a key role in audit preparation, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
- Contribute to process improvement and financial systems development.
- Support preparations for the next investment round and potential M&A activity.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in financial reporting and management accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to finance.
- Experience of working closely with senior stakeholders across a business.
- Confidence to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Prior exposure to SaaS or subscription-based businesses is desirable.
- Familiarity with tools such as Xero and Google Sheets is advantageous.
