Blair West is supporting LSL in Newcastle as they look to bring in a Senior Management Accountant into the team within a divisional role in the franchise division.  You will be reporting into the Divisional FC.

The opportunity:

• Prepare, produce and review management accounts vs forecasts and budgets. 
• Contribute to company- wide management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets.
• Review Franchisee billing/ self-billing prior to issue. 
• Production of ad hoc reports as required. 
• Liaison with operational management and Franchisees, providing finance support to assist with the delivery of our growth strategy. 
• Input into the achievement of the Franchise Division’s business plans & goals. 
• Provide clear guidance to staff to ensure business plans and goals are communicated.
• Mentoring the junior members of the team in their career development, ensuring an ambitious and best-in-class Finance team is maintained.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you’re someone who has:

• Qualified Accountant – ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
• Relevant experience in large/Corporate organisation (preferred).
• Experience in producing statutory accounts (preferred). 
• Knowledge of the SUN accounts system (preferred). 
• Experience of leading teams and managing people (preferred). 
• Experience of developing staff.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
• Advanced Excel skills. 
• Balance sheet reconciliations.  
• Understanding of controls and processes.
