Blair West are delighted to be supporting our Hull based client in their search for a new member of the finance team. This is a busy and varied role and would suit someone with previous experience.

The opportunity:

• Making BACS and cheque payments.
• Generating coding.
• Reconciling Supplier Statements.
• Checking supplier invoices/credit notes.
• Register supplier invoices/credit notes accurately.
• Set up new suppliers.
• Working out correct VAT element.
• Dealing with supplier enquiries (liaise with internal staff and external suppliers).
• Distributing incoming post.
• Deal with the account’s emails.
• Answer the account’s telephone calls.
• Make telephone payments.
• Prepare incoming cash/cheque’s for banking.
• Bank Requisition.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• Previous experience with purchase ledger.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A self motivated attitude with the ability to work without supervision .
• A strong team player mentality.
