Blair West is supporting the leading UK provider of software to the construction and related industries in a Search for a Product Director (Infrastructure). Our client has a clear vision to provide their customers with the tools to power the design, build, operation, and maintenance of the built environment. With teams based in the UK, Europe, and India, and with businesses operating the US, this is great opportunity to build an exceptional career on products that are used at a global scale.

The opportunity:

• You will lead on Product Strategy, taking responsibility for shaping and executing vision and strategy across the Infrastructure business unit.
• You will prioritise initiatives that align with business goals and market demands, all the while horizon scanning to track industry trends and competitor movements.
• You will coach and mentor cross functional teams and drive product development, ensuring quality, constant innovation, and timely delivery.
• Championing customer centricity, you will also manage budgets, and take the lead on internal communications to remain aligned with stakeholders.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, marketing or within a related discipline.
• Substantial experience in product management is essential. This includes experience in developing and launching successful products, preferably with a track record of leadership and achieving results.
• A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of UK highways infrastructure, local government asset management and or local road networks sectors would be highly valuable.
• A willingness to travel (initially USA – Florida and Texas) – likely 6 week intervals. In addition, the design and development team for one of your products is in, Portugal and you are likely to be there every two or three months.
• Ambition to be involved in, speaking to, and participating with industry bodies in the UK and USA.
