The opportunity:

• Drive the identification and initial screening of new investment opportunities.
• Manage and maintain a structured pipeline of potential investments.
• Conduct market research into new sectors, trends, and business opportunities.
• Prepare case studies and discussion documents to support investment decisions.
• Draft concise, well-reasoned investment papers at early stages of review.
• Support business valuation modelling and wider investment appraisal exercises.
• Assist with meeting notes, Investment Memos, and internal decision-making documentation.
• Contribute to strategic thinking and origination efforts across the consumer landscape.
• Work closely with a highly experienced team committed to mentoring and development.
• Benefit from opportunities for further education and relevant qualifications.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• A predicted or achieved 1st class degree in a relevant subject such as Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
• A naturally analytical mindset with strong commercial curiosity.
• The ability to work at pace and balance multiple priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated impact in extracurricular areas such as sport, volunteering, or societies.
• An entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for consumer brands and markets.
• The confidence to operate in ambiguity and form sound judgments.
• A proactive approach with a strong appetite for learning and growth.
• Relevant internship or placement experience is advantageous but not essential.
