Blair West is partnering with an omnichannel Consumer Products business to identify an Interim Managing Director.

The business – which has established D2C and B2B revenue lines in the UK and international markets – has significant opportunities to take market share from established brands in its product category but also requires improved systems and processes to be established in order for those to be realised.

The opportunity:

• To re-establish revenue growth in the business (UK and international).
• To identify and deliver business improvement projects, likely with an operational focus.
• To align and engage the shareholders and management team behind a deliverable plan for growth.
• To create confidence in the business’s long-term prospects with its investors.
• To realise significant opportunities to taker market share from established brands.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you’re someone who has:

• Experience in scaling eCommerce/Omnichannel Consumer Products business internationally (ideally in the USA or Europe).
• An analytic mindset and the ability to quickly assess business strengths and areas for improvement.
• The leadership skills to engage and align a cross-functional management team.
• A ‘challenger brand’ mindset.
• The ability to design and implement robust and repeatable business processes.
• Experience in managing relationships with senior stakeholders, including external investors.
