Blair West are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading SaaS provider in the utilities space. They are experiencing rapid growth and as a result are looking to hire an experienced Head of Operations to join the senior leadership team.  

As Head of Operations you will be responsible for people management, performance, and process innovation within your team’s specialities. The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable with operating at a strategic level, be data driven, as well as being able to implement new solutions which drive a better customer experience. 

The opportunity:

• Oversee customer support and operational processes. 
• Manage operational costs in line with the budget, this will include team resource, team budget allocations and software. 
• Regularly review the efficiency of the team processes, create solutions, sell, and implement them with the team. 
• Oversee your managers’ requests to our software engineering and CRM team to ensure that. 
• they align with business objectives and identify the greatest return on investment for 
• improvements made. 
• Be responsible for Google and Trustpilot scores. 
• Evaluate team performance through KPI’s. 

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• Previous experience working within a senior leadership role in operations.  
• The ability to collaborate and generate new ideas at all levels of the business including your teams and within the senior leadership team. 
• Excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to influence and inspire the team around you. 
• Experience of driving and being open to new changes that benefit growth and the company. 
• Ability to understand and find issues within team performance through feedback and the use of data. 
• Experience in recruiting medium to large teams quickly. 
• The ability to understand and drive successful seasonal business peak periods. 
• Experience of owning your business area, and driving change through the use of data and evidence. 
• Experience of managing a temporary team.
