Blair West are supporting an invested and acquisitive hospitality group as they look to recruit an FP&A Analyst into their commercial finance team in a newly created role.

Reporting into the Head of FP&A, this individual will support the commercial function with key reporting and analysis to drive business performance and profitability.

The opportunity:

• Own actual and forecasting of key financial categories
• Weekly and Monthly KPI data aggregation and calculation
• Problem solving and investigation where variances arise
• Support colleagues at site and support hub with queries
• Develop reports for the organisation to drive value through data backed decision making
• Plan versus actual variance analysis
• Preparing high-quality financial presentations, providing analysis and recommendations
• Key forecast driver variance analysis and reporting
• Monthly management accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations, including forecast data input
• Data preparation, consolidation and analysis support

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you are:

• AAT qualified and/or embarked on further accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
• A highly proficient Excel user
• Experienced in collating budget and forecast inputs and modelling
• A self starter with effective time management and prioritisation
• A problem solver
• Excellent at interpersonal and communication and have the ability to relate to a wide range of people of all levels
• Strong at analytical and presentation skills
• Able to adapt to changing business needs, working quickly and accurately
• Experienced with balance sheet reconciliation
• Experienced with Sage200 desirable
