Blair West are supporting a high-growth technology and manufacturing business to find a Finance Business Partner.
This role reports into the Group Financial Controller and has been newly-created to enhance commercial insight and financial decision support across the business.
The opportunity:
- Act as a finance partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and analyse management information, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term financial planning cycles.
- Deliver detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast, with clear recommendations for corrective action.
- Work closely with department heads to improve financial understanding and performance.
- Support scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis across key business decisions.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.
- Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting automation, and dashboard development.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- Professional accounting qualification (or are working towards one).
- Experience in a finance business partnering or commercially focused finance role.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership.
- High level of accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Confidence using financial systems, reporting tools, and data visualisation.
