Blair West are supporting an ever-evolving business based in Gateshead in its search for a Finance Assistant. You would work in a small but skilled team.

The opportunity:

• Daily monitoring and matching up of PO’s.
• Point of contact for procurement.
• Clearing of accounts and purchasing inbox.
• Credit control.
• Month end support, AP and AR reconciliation.
• VAT returns preparation.
• Processing of bi-weekly payment runs.
• Processing expenses.
• General support for other projects.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you’re:

• Has at least 2 experience as a finance assistant.
• Excellent Excel and IT skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of accountancy software.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Experience in using ERP Xero software.
