Blair West is supporting a highly respected Orthotics company searching for an experienced, BAPO-registered Director of Clinical Services. Focusing on innovative 3D-printed products, the company is the global leader in providing specialist clinical treatment for infants with head shape deformities and custom solutions for a wide range of orthopaedic conditions.

The opportunity:

• As a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will have significant input into driving the business forward, focussing on growth, clinical development and excellence, and innovation.
• You will also have input into TIMs sister company, 3D Ortho Products, in developing in-house clinical services and partnerships with third-party clinical providers.
• You will use your strong management experience to support the wider clinical team, including professional development, and you will manage and direct operations on the existing clinical bases.
• You will use your extensive knowledge and network in the field to create, nurture, and maintain excellent business relationships with external clinical organisations. You will drive growth by introducing and promoting the company’s portfolio of products and services.
• The primary focus will be on the United Kingdom and Ireland, although there are no geographical restrictions for certain products and services.
• There is an exciting opportunity, depending on performance, for you to achieve an invitation to The Board.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience as either a Prosthetist or as an Orthotist. You will be HCPC registered, and membership in BAPO will be a strong advantage.
• Experience in clinical supervision and programme management, with exceptional organisational and leadership skills. You will preferably have a background in running your own SME clinic or practice.
• A deep understanding of Professional standards (e.g. HCPC, MHRA, etc.) and the current regulatory environment within the clinical field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and an aptitude for resolving issues and conflicts.
• A demonstrable track record in budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer systems, such as patient management software.
