It all started in 2019. Our founders, David (Blair) and Simon (West), had a vision for a progressive recruitment business. They set out to build a business that approached recruitment differently; by treating their team as adults and giving them the autonomy to manage their own desks. Now with 20 employees, they have built a boutique search business focused on portfolio & equity houses and high-growth businesses, which works across Executive Search, Finance, Technology, Engineering, Commercial and HR.

What the role is
We are looking for a consultant to join our ever-growing team, a role integral to the success of our business.
As a consultant, your role is to:
- Use a 360 approach to managing your own desk
- Bring innovative methods to winning new business
- Develop and nurture your professional network
- Work with the research team to identify the best candidates for your roles
- Use excellent writing skills to produce candidate profiles, candidate briefing packs and pitch documents
- Be diligent with our CRM to store detailed notes about clients and candidates
- Share honest feedback with successful and unsuccessful candidates
- Cross-sell your colleagues’ specialisms
- Maintain your relationships beyond the offer stage ‘
Who we’re looking for
To join Blair West as a consultant, we look for a minimum of six months of experience, ideally within one of our sectors.
