Blair West are supporting Spyrosoft, one of the fastest growing technology consultancies in Europe, with the search for Business Director to lead the Media and Entertainment business within the Group. Listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Spyrosoft is seeking to appoint a BD to lead the Media and Entertainment business through a sustained period of continued high growth as a key part of the scale up strategy. This newly created position within the Group is the most senior role in the Business and will bring strategic, commercial and industry insight to the role as the business delivers an ambitious growth plan.
The Opportunity:
- Lead and develop the Media and Entertainment business unit, leveraging Spyrosoft’s vast technological capabilities.
- Designing, implementing and accelerating sales strategy.
- Proactively acquiring new clients in the UK and international markets.
- Taking direct responsibility for building a profitable client portfolio.
- Promoting and selling business solutions.
- Generating leads, preparing offers, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Closely cooperating with C-level and Board representatives.
- Cooperating with the Marketing Department and other business units to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Act as an inspirational leader, driving accountability for achieving measurable value growth, developing internal talent, and identifying external talent who can deliver.
- Manage external stakeholder relationships where appropriate.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you’re:
- A proven commercial leader with an entrepreneurial approach with proven sales experience within the technology services/software development industry.
- Knowledgeable of Digital Media and Entertainment technologies, specifically streams handling, media content provision, sport and/or leisure computer-aided solutions.
- Full of energy and an ambitious candidate, with a natural passion for sales.
- Able to showcase your track record of adding value and demonstrated experience in cultivating and nurturing business relationships with media industry customers, encompassing both customer acquisition and business development is essential.
- Outcomes and solutions focussed, with a sharp analytical mind and able to quickly understand customer needs to recognise and drive up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- A positive and charismatic business leader with self-confidence and intellect to constructively challenge strategic decision making.
