FP&A Analyst

Blair West are supporting a PE-backed business to find an FP&A Analyst.
This position sits within the finance team and reports directly into the FP&A Manager.
The role has been created to strengthen the organisation’s financial planning capability following the implementation of Anaplan and to enhance the quality of insight delivered to senior leadership.
The opportunity:
- Support the post-implementation phase of Anaplan, ensuring models and workflows continue to meet evolving business needs.
- Maintain and enhance financial models to provide accurate, consistent and reliable planning outputs.
- Analyse financial KPIs and trends, producing insight that informs strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to the preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts and long-range plans.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to validate assumptions and ensure data integrity.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support investor relations activities.
- Develop and standardise reporting packs that improve visibility of performance and support effective decision-making.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- Experience with financial planning and forecasting tools (Anaplan experience highly advantageous).
- Strong analytical capability and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise way.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and organised approach, comfortable working to tight deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Chartered Accountant qualification.
