Finance Manager

Blair West are supporting a growing Teesside based business, in their search for a part time Finance Manager.

This is a newly created and much needed position that will ensure financial integrity and support the growth of business.

The opportunity:

• Responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting and accounting process.
• Ensuring day-to-day transactions are recorded accurately.
• Month end.
• Monitoring cash and investment balances.
• Assist with developing and monitoring budgets, and supporting with monthly financial reporting.
• Highlight trends, risks and opportunities in financial data.
• Performing year end activities.
• Continually seeing opportunities to improves and streamline process .
• Oversee the entire debtor book, personally leading recovery efforts for high-valued, aged or complex debt.
• Act as the primary finance point of contact for auditors, senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• An experienced Finance manager who is competent with strategic planning and can deliver a financial plan to work inline with long term business growth.
• Excellent technical accounting skills with the ability to apply them to business.
• Knowledge of international financial operations.
• Ability to use data to gain insights and drive decisions.
• Ability to scope out projects with appropriate plans, assess work requirements, involve stakeholders and manage delivery to timelines
