Blair West are supporting a leading SaaS and AI-first data and analytics provider to the FMCG/CPG industry to find exceptional delivery/implementation experts (2 x Europe/UK, 1 x North America).
This position will lead the successful delivery of complex, multi-workstream implementation programmes for global FMCG/CPG clients, ensuring the transactional and data analytics platform is deployed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard ie leveraging established best practices and reusable patterns for core product compliance, as well as ensuring their customers extract maximum value immediate and on an ongoing basis. Sitting at the heart of implementation programme governance, and customer success, this operational role provides leadership and delivery assurance across cross-functional teams and acts as the primary point of accountability for delivery execution (scope, quality, budget and customer satisfaction) throughout the implementation lifecycle.
The opportunity
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-workstream implementation programmes.
- Implement effective programme governance, as per established delivery methodology and operating rhythms.
- Build comprehensive detailed executable plans covering resourcing, milestones, dependencies and risk mitigation.
- Monitor and report on programme forecast against approved budget, financial performance, and other Delivery & Quality KPIs across engagements.
- Coordinate workstreams across data integration, platform configuration, analytics development, reporting, training and change management.
- Engage with senior client and internal stakeholders, including executive sponsors through steering committees.
- Facilitate strategic decisions around scope, timeline, quality and resource trade-offs.
- Prepare and present relevant services proposals in support of Software and Services Sales.
- Identify and escalate risks, blockers and issues alongside mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Contribute to enhance and improve operational delivery model & methodologies, shaping new patterns as required.
- Ensuring programmes and teams are adhering to established methodologies, processes and operational KPIs ( strong culture of “managing by numbers”, “measure, report, improve”).
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams, including external partners, ensuring clarity of responsibility and high-quality execution in joint delivery models, where the business enables, assists and influence delivery partners to ensure expected outcomes.
- Drive quality assurance across design, testing, deployment and post-go-live phases.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have
- Extensive programme/project management and operational delivery experience within SaaS, data analytics, or commercial enterprise software.
- A strong track record delivering large-scale, multi-workstream technology implementations.
- Experience working with FMCG/CPG companies or in industries with complex data and analytics requirements.
- Deep understanding of programme management methodologies.
- Confidence managing programme budgets, financial reporting and revenue recognition.
- Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and navigating complex organisational structures.
- Strong knowledge of data and analytics delivery, including data integration, warehousing and BI deployment.
- Proficiency with programme management tools.
- The ability to lead cross-functional teams across architecture, engineering, BI, training and change management disciplines.
- Strong problem-solving capability, can-do attitude, commercial awareness and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
