Blair West is supporting a dynamic, investment-backed business in Edinburgh that is embarking on an ambitious buy & build strategy. With plans to double in size through acquisition, the business currently operates just under £5m turnover and is seeking a seasoned Fractional CFO to support growth.
Reporting directly to the Board, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the business’s financial strategy and operational performance.
The opportunity:
- Board reporting and financial oversight.
- Leading system implementation initiatives.
- Supporting the onboarding of acquisitions and identifying future acquisition opportunities.
- Working closely with the Operations Director to drive profitability and operational performance.
You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Experience in a private equity-backed businesses.
- Experience in buy & build strategies and M&A execution.
- Senior finance leadership within SMEs or similar environments.
