Blair West are supporting a technology business in recruiting a Management Accountant. This is a newly created role for the business joining an existing team of 5. You will be tasked with management accounts production, driving efficiency in process, and supporting strategic decision making as the organisation embarks on an ambitious growth strategy, with succession planning in mind.

The opportunity:

• Produce weekly financial and operational reports, ensuring key insights are delivered in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and business strategy.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support forecasting activities and compute sales commissions accurately.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition by reconciling sales data and maintaining compliance with financial policies.
• Work closely with the wider finance team to drive efficiencies and process improvements.
• Contribute to financial decision-making by providing insightful analysis and recommendations.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you’re someone who:

• Is part or fully qualified with a CIMA/ACCA/ACA certification.
• Has advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software.
• Is experienced in working with Power BI and Sage Intacct is advantageous.
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Has the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Can demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach to work within a fast-paced environment.
