Blair West are delighted to work with a manufacturing business based in Cramlington in their search for a experienced Credit Controller. This is a stand alone role working in a small team, you will manage up to 400 ledgers of varying size. The function is established but due to retirement they are looking for a new member of the team.

The opportunity:

• Managing the ledgers for three business units
• Size can vary but on average you will manage 400 accounts
• Uk and International credit control
• Issue invoices and follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions
• Negotiate payment arrangements and set up repayment plans
• Use SAP to record daily activities.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• Proven experience in credit control
• Strong understanding of credit management and collection techniques
• Excellent communication
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
