Blair West are partnering up with The Handbag Clinic who are seeking an experienced and proactive Management Accountant who will have ownership of the day to day and monthly financial operations of the business. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing business and manage all aspects of the financial operations and management of a business and support decision making.

The opportunity:

• Preparation of the monthly Management Accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements. 
• Analyse financial performance and provide analysis / commentary against budget & forecasts. 
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets & periodic forecasts. 
• Provide insights to improve financial performance. 
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the business meets its operational and strategic requirements.
• Creating reports and monitoring data / KPIs to support the business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems (leveraging Xero software & automation).
• Ad hoc reporting and related tasks to support the wider team. 

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you’re:

• Part/Fully Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA. 
• Experienced in a similar role. 
• Able to demonstrate your excellent IT skills, specifically advanced Excel knowledge.
• Highly analytical and confident in manipulating & analysing transactional data.  
• Able to work to deadlines and work calmly and effectively under time pressures. 
• Able to work well independently as well as contribute to a positive team environment.  
• Experienced with Xero accounting software (preferred). 
• Able to showcase that you have a strong attention to detail.
