Blair West is partnering with a fast-growing financial services business in Newcastle, and they are looking to add an Assistant Management Accountant to their finance team.

Joining an existing team of 7, this role will focus on assisting with management accounts production, internal business partnering, and assisting with revenue reporting.

The opportunity:

• Support the production of monthly and quarterly revenue management accounts for multiple entities within the organisation.
• Month-end variance analysis.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Weekly gross profit projections.
• Monthly/yearly budget analysis.
• Ad-hoc financial reporting to assist senior management with decision-making.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the process for wider ERP implementation projects.
• Business partner across financial and non-financial internal departments.
• Assist and support the annual audit and external auditors where required.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you:

• Have started working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
• Are comfortable handling your workload and business partnering across internal teams.
• Are experienced in producing management accounts.
• Are a strong communicator, both written and verbal.
• Can showcase an ability to investigate complex issues to resolution.
• Have the desire to continue professional development as the business grows.
