Blair West are working with Scarlett Abbott, a leading Data Analytics and Employee experience consultancy based in York. The business are looking to hire an experienced Operations Director to help transform and optimise operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that operational activities are aligned with the company’s strategic goals, enhancing efficiency and productivity.

The opportunity:

• Develop long-term strategies that drive productivity and success for the company.
• Oversee the delivery team to ensure they are motivated, trained, and equipped to meet high standards.
• Lead, mentor, and manage operations teams, including department heads, project managers, and creative teams. Ensure teams have the necessary skills, resources, and motivation to perform effectively.
• Analyse and streamline operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase quality. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across all operations.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• Proven experience in an operations leadership role.
• An enthusiastic and hard working mentality.
• Strong strategic thinker work ethic, who can stay focused under pressure, with a focus on optimising processes and managing resources.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience leading high-performing teams of project managers and creatives.
• Excellent computer skills, with the ability to analyse business data to identify revenue opportunities and operational improvements is essential, as is experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
• Experience in managing vendor and partner relationships, including contracts, agreements, and procurement is an advantage.
