Blair West is proud to support an investor-backed B2B SaaS business in a search for a Global Chief Technology Officer to lead on technology strategy and execution, driving innovation and overseeing the evolution, deployment, and maintenance of their software solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of the business as it embarks on global expansion, launches into new markets, pursues strategic acquisitions, and leverages modern architectural approaches and cloud services to enable improved scalability and accelerated new product development.​ 

The opportunity:

• You will redesign and modernise the architecture to support rapid-scaling in customer usage and new product developments.​ 
• You will lead improvements to the SDLC by adopting best practices, increasing automation, and ensuring high-quality code via robust testing frameworks. In addition, you will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes, reduce deployment times, and enhance product reliability.​ 
• Evolve team structure to support accelerated growth and scalability, and enhance team capabilities by hiring, training, and skills development programmes.​ 
• Lead technological initiatives to support entry into new markets internationally, Overseeing the development of new product lines tailored to specific regional needs and regulatory frameworks, and drive the development of new product offerings working closely with the Head of Product and the UI/UX team. ​ 
• Integrate acquired technologies and platforms seamlessly into Turnkey IPS’s existing infrastructure, ensuring that acquired systems are optimized for performance, security, and compliance.​ 

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years’ experience as CTO (or equivalent) leading high-performing technology teams, with a proven track record in fast-paced PE/VC-backed business environments. 
• A background in Software Engineering or Architecture. 
• The abilities to develop and execute a technology strategy that supports growth and innovation.​  
• Strong analytical skills to address complex technical and business challenges.​ 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
• Proficiency using JavaScript for developing business logic and frontend development. Strong experience with MS SQL Server and cloud platforms (Azure). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).  
• Experience with modern cloud services and architectural patterns, as well as architecture redesign for scaling, and a record of delivering SDLC improvement and CI/CD pipeline implementation. 
• Experience in financial services or legal tech industries would be helpful. Previous work in B2B SaaS environments would be strong advantage. 
• A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.​
