Blair West is supporting a global technology business with their search for an Assistant Accountant to join their central finance operations team based in Newcastle.  Reporting into the Treasury Manager, this role with support the wider Treasury and Finance Operations team with tasks, focusing on the timely completion of bank actions.

The opportunity:

• Complete all daily banking per relevant groups, to ensure publisher commission invoices are released daily.
• Process returned publisher payments daily to ensure the correct and up-to-date status is reflected in both the company platform and Netsuite.
• Ensure responsible bank accounts are reconciled on a weekly basis.
• Liaise with wider finance team to ensure bank postings are completed when required.
• Ensure responsible bank accounts are reconciled for month end.
• Assist the team with any Month End reconciliation and reporting requirements.
• Assist with partner payment runs.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• 2+ years in a similar previous role.
• Proficient organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using NetSuite or other ERP systems beneficial.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
